Tsing Yi Nature Trails Hike HONG KONG

Tsing Yi Nature Trails provide amazing views of the famous Tsing Ma Bridge in Hong Kong. Reminds me so much of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco! One of the hidden gems in Hong Kong, Tsing yi Nature Trail is also close to Tsing Yi Park. A lovely day to explore the island and get some exercise and views in!

Guide to a Day in Taipo HONG KONG

Taipo Hong Kong is a beautiful neighborhood in the New Territories. In addition to the taipo waterfront park hong kong, the area offers so much more. We started out this particular day with a lovely hike at Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve, an amazing lunch at Billow Seafood Bar & Bistro, and capped the day with a lovely walk around Tai Po Town Center with Grandma's Tofu Pudding.

A Day at Ocean Park HONG KONG

For Ocean Park Hong Kong tickets, check out both the website and OTAs like trip.com and klook for deals. For my officially ocean park hong kong review, I have to give it a 95 out of 100! I was extremely surprised at how wonderfully kept and diverse offerings it had. Often remembered as a local park, oceanpark hong kong is both an amusement park and a zoo.

Wanchai to Aberdeen Reservoir Hike HONG KONG

This was one of the longer hikes we did in Hong Kong. It’s not very difficult if you pace yourself but it does take up about 3 to 3-and-half hours. The best part about this hike is you get to see so many different scenery and terrain ranging from the Hong Kong Island skyline, a culturally significant rock (the Lover’s Rock), and the yellow dunes along with the manmade lakes from the reservoir. If you are lucky, you may even get to see wild boars along the way like we did!

Chung Hom Kok Hike HONG KONG

Hidden gem in the Chung Hom Kok, located on the southwest of Hong Kong Island. Get off at Chung Hom Kok Beach either by taxi or #40 minibus, and walk south towards Chung Hom Kok Park, which is about 1.8km one way. The hike is relatively flat and manageable if you are looking to get it movin’ but not struggle or have a heat stroke in this hot humid summer weather!

Oakes Daylilies Farm CORRYTON, TN

Oakes Day Lillies Farm was such a breathtaking property. The blooming day lilies in their variation of gold, orange, maroon like rays of the setting sun splashed across the young crips greenery of the rolling hills. The farm also featured a small pond; next to it a large willow tree that draped its veins, blowing so gently across the summer breeze. Far back behind the sun flower fields sits a freshly painted white farm house that overlooks the entire property. Complimented by the cotton candy like clouds plopped against the crisp blue skies truly portrays the farm to such of an Impressionist painting.
