While staying in the UNESCO town of Le Puy en Velay, I had the liberty to take a few day trips within a 40-minute drive of this beautiful destination located in the Auvergne Region of France. La Chaise-Dieu, an abbey church founded in 1043 and Chateau Chavaniac, the birthplace and childhood home of American Revolutionary War hero, the Marquis de Lafayette.
Nestled near Tin Hau and Tai Hang neighborhoods, Jardine's Lookout hike is one of the most unique and if not only hike in Hong Kong that provides panoramic views of both the Hong Kong skyline and Kowloon skyline. Jardine's Lookout is part of the overall Braemar Hill (often misspelled as Braemer Hill). Beginning of the Trail -the main one begins behind Chinese International School.
I've come to love wake surf and wakeboarding, especially during the summer months in Hong Kong. Wakeboarding and wake surf operators are easily bookable and the main areas to board the boat are Sai Kung and Taipo. Wake surf hong kong and wakeboard hong kong are almost synonymous with must-do activities if you are into water sports.
Tsing Yi, in addition to the hike on Tsing Yi Nature Trails, which offers excellent views of the Tsing Ma Bridge, is also home to Tsing Yi Park and many hidden gems worth a day of exploration. Tsing Yi Nature Trails provide amazing views of the famous Tsing Ma Bridge in Hong Kong. Reminds me so much of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco! One of the hidden gems in Hong Kong, Tsing yi Nature Trail is also close to Tsing Yi Park. A lovely day to explore the island and get some exercise and views in!
Cape Collinson, located between Siu Sai Wan and Big Wave beach on the eastern side of Hong Kong Island is a great area to explore. The Cape Collinson Battery Hike will lead you to the crumbling ruins of the old battery and breathtaking views of the cape as well as the skyline of Tseung Kwan O.

Lei Yue Mun Hong Kong Guide. Stumbled upon this amazing place, Lei Yue Mun Village, at the end of our hike at Devil’s Peak in Yau Tong neighborhood on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong. In addition to the locally well known lei yue mun seafood restaurant Hong Kong, the Village is filled with beautiful scenery, local snacks, and an old Lei Yue Mun Quarry.
This was one of the longer hikes we did in Hong Kong. It’s not very difficult if you pace yourself but it does take up about 3 to 3-and-half hours. The best part about this hike is you get to see so many different scenery and terrain ranging from the Hong Kong Island skyline, a culturally significant rock (the Lover’s Rock), and the yellow dunes along with the manmade lakes from the reservoir. If you are lucky, you may even get to see wild boars along the way like we did!

choi hung estate is known for its instagrammable basketball court. However, its location next to kwun tong makes it also worth your time to visit the chi lin nunnery and kwun tong promenade. If you are down for a walk, the entire 6km enjoyable walk can take you from kwun tong mtr.

Stanley beach and it's relaxing stanely promenade is one of the popular beach spots in Hong Kong. However, its nearby neighbor is much less crowded and equally nice! St Stephen's Beach just a short walk away from Stanley Beach Hong Kong is a better option if you want to avoid crowds, especially from stanley main beach.
